Sunday, November 11, 2007 we hiked again Ha Ling Peak, this time in a larger group.

We started our trip around 1pm and by 4 pm we were back to the car.

After the first switchbacks the Canadian friends gave up due to health issues. The group “stayed” together until we reached the alpine area. Some hiked to the saddle between Ha Ling and Lawrence Grassi and from there on to the top. Because it was windy and cold they didn’t stay to long on the peak. Emilia, Bogdan, Niki and Florin chose to hike directly towards the top, on the scree.

We took some photos, the visibility being resonable. On our way down we regrouped at the forest cover and enjoyed a sandwich and some hot tea from the thermos.
