Ha Ling Peak belongs to Front Range and is located close to Canmore. The top can be reached following few routes, some for climbers with a difficulty of 5.4 - 5.6 and other for hikers on the opposite side of the mountain. The height gain is 700m, first 400 m through the forest. The top was named after the Chinese miner who climbed the mountain for the first time in 1886.

Sunday, April 22nd, we did a short hike. Despite the fact that during the week it snowed in Calgary, on the mountain the snow layer was acceptable. We did an easy hike on Ha Ling Peak, 2407 m, 2 hours up and an hour descending. The path was easy to follow and we met different types of hikers ranging from ones that wore appropriate clothing to others wearing sneakers.

Here are some pictures.
