Because the weather allowed us, in November we headed to Windtower, accessible from Spray Lake Road. The route meanders on the west slope of the mountain. On the opposite side there is a rock wall, which has few climbing routes.

Up to Wind Pass, the route is common with the one that leads to Rimwall Summit.

Through the pass, the wind was blowing with furry, so maybe the name of this summit was well chosen.

From here, the path that leads towards the top is an easy scramble, some sections being covered with snow during our ascent.

From the top, where it was really cold, we saw Mount Lougheed, whose top can be reach via a multi pitch climbing route.

In front, on the left side it is visible Rimwall Summit, behind it there is Three Sister group, and in the background, between Middle and Little Sister, it can be seen Est End of Rundle.

A snapshot on the way down with a better perspective of Rimwall Summit.
